Road to black Sea ETS2 1.35
Hello guys,

I want to ask you if the new DLC "Road to Black Sea" will be compatible with ETS 1.35, because my laptop is not able to Run 1.36 version due to outdated GPU...

Thank you !

No the Road to the black Sea will not work with ETS2 version 1,35.

But why can't you run the version 1,36 that sounds not real that your GPU can't run that version. If it's your Graphic card you can play the game in OpenGL version instede that can run on almust all Graphic cards.

Sorry if i haven't got the point right, im not english but Danish and sometimes i don't get it all right here. when i try to help.

Hi BCS,

Thanks for the answer,
It seems that a lot of people encounter this problem from what I read on the forums these days..
I tried start the game also in OpenGL but still doesn't work, so my laptop has an integrated GPU Intel HD Graphics which support up to DirectX 10, so the game now supports only DirectX 11.
I saw also on ETS official page that the minimum requirements was updated with a some kind of GEForce GPU...

To roll back to 1.35 was the only solution which worked for me/

Then maybe you should get a computer with technology in it from at least the last decade. DX11 is around for over 10 years now.

Actually yes, is an old Fujitsu from 2011 :) ( i3 370M) , but still works fine for my needs and I managed to play ETS 2 until version 1.35 quite ok ( sure, with all graphics at lowest).
As far I found on the Vendor specs, it seems that can support only up to DirectX 10, I am not pretty sure of that, but game in vers. 1.36 doesn't started at all (Even in OpenGL)

But it seems that I will need to look for some good offers for a new notebook in this Christmas period...

If im not all wrong you have Windows 7 on that or maybe it's only Windows XP. To run DirectX 11 you need a PC there can run windows 10. And it would be stupid not to get a PC there can't do that and have a decent Graphic card on minimum 4gb. If you look for another PC or Laptop 16gb memory Ram as minimum

No, actually I have the last version of Windows 10 64-bit (October Update 2019) so in DxDiag at DirectX version I have DirectX12, so I am not understanding which is the truth :)

However the game still doesn't start at all in version 1.36 on this PC

Win10 may support DX12, however, if your GPU only supports DX10 then this is the limiting factor.
