Trailer ownership.
I have bought my first trailer when the beta came out. My questionh is this. If I park my trailer, will my AI drivers use it? Also, will we have the trailer in External Contracts?

Thanks in Advace guys.

Yes they will unless you made it private to you, i have seen you can do that don't remember where but i think it was in the driver menu.

you can also teleport your own trailers between your garage the same way you do your trucks. so you don't have to have one in each garage you can move it from garage to garage.

You can set the trailer to private in Trailer managers list.

No.

What is the piont to owning trailers? Do they take up garage space? Do I make more money if I use my own trailer? Can I equip my drivers with trailers and in turn earn even more money?

Okay, I didn't know this either. I did have a double trailer I had bought but the garage in Norway the AI drivers has been using it. The doubles from what I have seen can be only us in Norway, Denmark and I forgot the other country. There was a little not above the trailer dealership letting me know this.

So setting it private AI drivers can't touch the trailer. HMMMMM....thanks for the tip.

Yes and yes. But before you get excited, the economy was changed. Freight market gives less money than it did before. I'm guessing that trailer ownership + cargo market gives about the same profit now that freight market did before.

The cargo is shared between owned and freight market, so unless there is a multiplier for owned trailer somewhere the income should be the same.

Really? Other people were reporting higher profit from cargo market.
I can't verify because I am not playing beta.

Double trailers is only aloud in Denmark and Norway up to 25,25 meters in Finland and Sweden up to 35 meters. All other counties in Europe they is not aloud there is the limit for a truck with trailer 18,25 meters if it's a Tandem with trailer, else it's 18 The trucks SCS have in the game the limit is 18 meters.

It's marginal.

Pears - 15t - Both jobs normal delivery times (not just in time) and no ferries.

811 miles = £47k Normal (52k if you add the extra 22 miles)

833 miles = £54k Owned

Then you have to take into account trailer config, axle count, reefer/dryvan/curtain as that does slightly affect the price per mile.

Once you take all those variables into account the £2k difference can easily be explained a way.

Until someone can find a job too/from the exact same locations & companies, with the exact same trailer configs and no random multipliers, that clearly shows a difference, I'm happy to say it's the same income.

To me,the drivers with owned trailers have the lowest revenue from all.I have three owned refrigerated trailers and I have the lowest pay/week on those divers.
