Is the A9 road in new Baltic DLC map suppose to be 50 kph for a few miles?

From Riga to the next town on A9 is limited to 50 kph for quite a while (open road) until finally switches to 80 kph. It seemed too long to me.

i found the baltic states annoying ..... 56 down to 50 down to 43 down to 31 down to 25 and varies inbetween. just finished a job that was over 939 miles. didnt see the road marker so can't tell you that. but it was up(turnini) to finland(helsinki) through baltic states.

Yeah i noticed one part had 70 kph then 50 kph for 100 m or whatever and then back to 70 kph again, its expected to have speeds drop to 50 going through a small town or whatever but this was out of the blue, i think just outside of a town. Otherwise i really like this dlc so far, very scenic.

There are a ton of these annoying speed fluctuations. I think I saw like four or five on a two kilometer stretch. 50 to 70 to 90 to 70 to 50 etc. Unfortunately I was so occupied by the speed fluctuations that I didn't see the speed camera in time. Well, I learned how they look the hard way. Ticket for me, lol.

Yeah I wish they would make speed limits a lot less varied. In cities it should be lowerd but if its just a straight ahead road it should be one speed. Not 3 different speeds. Its annoying.

The worst offender I've found is after crossing the border from Russia into Latvia (coming from Pskov). Speed limit is 30 km/h for absolutely no reason a long while after the toll station, and overtaking is usually not possible because of busy traffic. There are also some sections where speed limits aren't the same for both directions, and should be reported as bugs.
