I have a i5-7500 and GTX 1060 and don't have those issues playing on Ultra with 400% scaling.
Make sure you NEVER optimise the game with Geforce Experience. It's known to cause issues.
Vsync not help.
I7-950, geforce gtx 970, 16gb ram.
I playing ETS 2, 4 years, no lags before.
Will do as suggested. My scaling is set to 125%. Im pretty sure that my setting is reasonable.
Yes i never did the optimization with Geforce. Does reinstalling the game helps? Coz other demanding game i played didn’t show any kind of lag..
but 30-40 fps isnt consider a lag right? the kind of lag i encounter is very noticeable where you can see that traffic doesnt move smoothly as it should be, that kind of stuff..
thanks! i think it is easier to monitor the fps this way.
I wished SCS recognized the problems.
I do get the occasional drop in Italy (a lot of assets to load I think), but that is literally the only slow down I ever get (and it is only at one section of the highway).
"Lagging" can also be when you either are not using Vsync in the game, or you have not activated Gsync (as you have a GTX 1080 Freesync is not available), or in the last case if your framerate gets higher than the refreshrate of the monitor. Normally this is tearing in such a case, but many people concider this phenomenon as lagging.
Turn down the scaling or disable HDR.
