Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC
So I’m debating whether to buy this as a Christmas present for myself. I love ETS2, but as I’m not made of money is it worth paying full price for it or to be patience and wait till it goes up on sale? Am I missing out not owning the DLC?!

I'm still working on getting there XD, halfway though Poland right now. I'll tell you this though. I've driven extensively through all of the DLC areas and they are amazing, very much worth it.

It's a HUGE chunk of country to play in , inc probably the best detailed streets, trams, bridges and roads outside Italy DLC. Personaly, i would own it as it expands deliveries going on 2-3,000 miles now. Seeing as it's the only game i spend DLC on and will play forever -well hope so ;) it's worth it for it's also recachable from several ferry points -so you don't need to drive across central europe.

Besides, it's just out so wont be on sale till next year sometime. If you love ETS2 and you don't see £13 as a lot of money -which it really isn't, the return in replayablity and exploring is miles more than that price, as you already know with owning ETS2 :cozybrawlhalla1:

If you have Scandanavia and like driving through Sweden, you will like Beyond the Baltic. I toured around, drove through all the countries, and can't imagine ever going back. If you're on any sort of a budget I would put it off until it is deeply discounted. Italy, France and Scandanavia are all great if you are lacking one and want to buy yourself a present...

I like it. SCS has done a great job of putting together a large number of achievements to go along with the map.

I wouldn't call "grinding AND random numbers god" great.

I think SCS software DLCs (at least map expansions) are all worthy the full price... but i decided to not buy to force myself exploring all other expansions i never really explored lol

Is it worth full price? I would say for what it adds yes especilly if you want more map to explore or drive through or being more creative and openning up more options for driving routes. Especilly if you like driving scandinavia/eastern europe since thats what it links up to the best.

As for missing out I personally would say not really as no map expansiosn are really absolutely necessary but again I think it goes to your goals and how you play ETS2. If you are trying to drive longer routes or explore all or get all the achievements or things then yes not having a map dlc would mean you are missing out but if you just enjoy the driving and find what you have is enough for now you can wait to get the baltic expansion without issue as well.
