You should now be able to do External Contracts (NOTE: your need to own your own truck to be able to do this).
If you've just started playing this game, there's a chance you don't have your own truck yet. You need to own your own truck to be able to accept external contracts. Just keep doing quick jobs until you can borrow ~150k from the bank and buy yourself a truck.
Hope that soon I will be able to do external contracts as I want Christmas decorations! :p
Thank you all for answers, I really appreciate :)
I dont advise using the Volvo out the gate as a new player. Its fuel hungry, expensive to buy and upgrade, and cost a fair bit to repair with limited funds at the start.
My advice;
Grab a cheap as chips Iveco and save your cash up. Upgrade your garage, then buy another cheap Iveco and let an AI driver run it. They will pay off any loans you have once they get going. Once you have money for a 3rd truck, then pick one you really like and want and give the first truck to another AI driver.
Hey presto you just built a small haulage firm. You can then settle down to some proper hauling, and not have to worry about earning enough any more.
