Articulated trailers help

So I haven't played for a while and decided to give the game another go.

I went to Norway and accepted a job with a articulated trailer. However, when I went to attach it, it wouldn't let me.

Why is this? is it my truck? I am lv 8 and have a Iveco Stralis with only an upgrade to the engine and transmission. Do I need another chassis?

I am also playing with the TruckersMP mod, if that's what is causing it, but I doubt it.

Well, I could fit under it, but it never gave me the option to latch it. I went as far as I could under it, but it still wouldn't.

Do you have advanced trailer coupling enabled? also do you have trailer mods installed?.

The only mod I am using is TruckersMP. And yes, I do have that enabled, what am I supposed to do with articulated trailers when advanced coupling is on? Other trailers give me an option straight away, is there extra steps with those?

Edit: I just switched to my other profile which is much higher level. I don't know if it was my chassis, but I got the option withut any other steps. Maybe I just never lined it up properly...

I do have 1 other question though. Is expert parking not available for articulated trailers? When I got to the destination, I could only do basic or skip, the expert one was greyed out. Or is that locked behind a higher level?

It's disabled because its practically impossible, so that when you automatically select the hardest parking for all jobs, you don't get those impossible ones. but you can enable it anyway by changing g_simple_parking_doubles from 1 to 0 ... or from 0 to 1. I forget which one.
