Traffic lights are only flashing yellow in the night

Hello everybody,
can someone tell me, is it right, that the traffic lights at night only flash yellow after the last DLC update. Mods are not activated. At the moment I only noticed the new map of the Eastern Bloc, because I am leaving the cities.

there where cities before in the game with that too.
And yes, it is correct.
Some cities do that (or completly shut down the traffic lights) in the night times where almost no traffic is on the road so that people dont have to wait pointlessly on red lights.
But remember, at least in real life you have to look at the traffic signs at the lights to see if you have to give way or not.

Yes, for some cities/regions, traffic lights switch to uncontrolled at night, due to the lighter traffic flow. To show the junction is uncontrolled, the lights flash amber as they can be passed with caution and drivers need to be prepared to giveway/stop.

And if there are no signs then right hand rule (fleft hand rule in UK, I believe) apply. And that rule is actually actively enforced by AI drivers in both ETS2 and ATS, so be very careful in those cases.

Thanks for answering. Then it is ok. Because i thought for a few years, there was an little mistake by that in the programm. But if it`s right, it`s right :-)
