Just got my new PC, and thought I would play a bit of ETS. But then I found out, that my profile had been reseted. WHAT CAN I DO, TO GET MY OLD PROFILE BACK!!

Look in your old PC -> My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/profiles folder.

okay. And then make a copy of it, or what? And what is the best way to do it?

Copy folder and transfer to new PC (same location)

Well, because you already launched ETS2 on your new PC at least once (you did it, right?) the best thing would be to first MOVE the whole ETS2 folder somewhere else on your new PC, then copy the whole ETS2 folder from your old PC on a removable memory (any USB stick or external HDD), then copy it into your new PC (same place). Launch ETS2 and see if everything is working correctly. After you are sure it is fine that way, go and delete the folder you moved in the beginning.

I have a similar scenario in ATS. I started before 1.33. Had to send laptop in for service, and wanted to play on PC. Not cloud synced on Steam. However, now ATS is cloud synced and so is ETS, but the old profile will not sync. A new profile will sync though.

So, how can I get the old profile to sync so I can play on the PC as well as my laptop?

From the profile selection screen, select your "not clouded" profile, click on the Edit button and look for the "Use Steam Cloud" option then enable it. On old profiles won't be automatically activated, user must do it on its own. Newly created profile are clouded by default.

I think the easiest thing would be like this, on the new pc delete the Profile, go to the old Computer and start ETS2 on the old computer make sure the save you want you to make sure you enable cloud on it, after you enable cloud on it go to your new pc and select use cloud. After you do that you should then have the old save on the new PC

THANK YOU! I hadn't realized that they had added that to the ingame profile. :cozyspaceengineersc: And much faster to respond than Steam. HA
