Well...

Front axle and back axle can pull most trailers and cargo if your engine is max upgraded.

Front axle and two back axles or more can pretty much pull all the Special Transport stuff, although one front and back axle can as well. It all depends on the engine and terrain to be fair. Truck brand plays a big roll in that too, you'll just have to experiment and see, but me personally always drive with two back axles down at all times :D

The bigger the engine (horsepower, Torque) the heavier the load you can pull.
Small engines will pull but will be real slow on the big hills.

Thank you just wondered because it give weight of trailers but no info on trucks weight pulling power.

Start with smaller trailer weights and observe how difficult it is for your truck to go uphill. Slowly pick heavier loads until you see where your trucks really struggles. Then increase your trailer weight limit when you upgrade your engine, and repeat the process. Avoid picking jobs from a Steinbruch with your beginning truck, because you might get stuck on the high gradient slopes.
