Thrustmaster T150 (1080 degree wheel) vs TMX (900 degree wheel)
I'm thinking of putting one of these two on my Christmas list, but not sure which one. Both are on sale for under $200 CAD right now, so please no "get the.... instead." On the surface, the T150 should be my first pick because of the extra turning range, but the TMX looks sooooo much better while the former looks like such a toy.

So here is where I pose my question. Does this game really take advantage of the extra range? I used to drive school bus, so I know larger vehicles tend to have an extra rotation (or three). Does the game take this into account? And even if it does, how noticable is it compared to a 900 degree wheel?

Also while we are here, is the button placement on the TMX a hindrance, or does it work to an advantage? Are there any other advantages of disadvantages to each that I should be aware of?

Also, even if you haven't used both of these wheels, but you have used different 900 and 1080 wheels, feel free to share your thoughts.

You only need 900 degrees rotation for ETS2 so even with a 1080 wheel, you'd be setting it to 900 anyway in order to maintain 1:1 rotation in game.

As for the differences between TMX/T150, they're functionally identical in almost every way so it doesn't really matter which one you with, both are excellent options for a cost effective wheel. I would recommend getting the 'Pro' bundle though as the 3 pedal T3PA are much better than the standard 2 pedal set.

This!! Normal 2 pedal set is worst ever, both quality and gaming.
