Steering Wheel & Pedals Not Recognised
I've been using a Thrustmaster T300RS steering wheel and 3 pedal set for some time now and a few days ago both ETS 2 & ATS stopped recognising it. While it recognises the button functions for the steering wheel it will not recognise the steering or pedals. Is there anyone out there who can help me solve this problem?

Do the wheel and pedals appear in the drop down list of the wizzard

If the game recognize button pressed, that's mean the device is working properly right? Check the wheel with it's software in the case of loosen or unplugged cables.

Yeah, check functionality in windows game controller panel first. Then driversoftware, then game.

My PC tells me that the steering wheel is operating normally. The drivers have been re-downloaded as has the ATS game/program. Therefore the device is working properly. I've checked the cabling too but if it was a cabling issue the buttons wouldn't work and the device wouldn't be seen in the drop down wizard.

So, as far as I can see, the device is working properly in terms of power, it's recognised in and by the game wizard. The buttons of the wheel work fine but the steering itself doesn't and neither do the pedals. Therefore, the only issue I can see is that the game isn't recognising the Thrustmaster steering wheel and pedals.

Thank you to all who have provided information so far but I'm still stuck where I was before. Time to contact SCS I think...

I'm using this same wheel and have no problems at all. The only niggle was when I first set it up the game refused to see the accelerator axis and put both brake and accelerator on the same one. I went into the controls.sii and manually put the accelerator to the proper axis and it's worked like a charm ever since.

I've been using Thrustmaster for quite a few years now and highly recommend them. This is the second wheel I've bought and don't believe it's the wheel at all but the program instead. However, what you say about the controls.sii file may well be worth a look. At this point doing some sort of rain dance or other similar ritual might be worth thinking about. Thank you I'll look at the sii file right now....

RYU, you are a star. When I searched for the sii folder it was missing so I reloaded the whole Thrustmaster kit and voila. Thank you so much. I'd not thought of reinstalling the Thrustmaster software. I guess I'd just put too much faith in it but it does make you wonder how part of a program can just disappear....

Thank you to everyone concerned.
