I have tried it but can't recommend doing it. My truck gets stuck because the barrier hits it and then my truck starts to wiggle uncontrollably. I think I succeeded a couple of times pushing the car in front of me at a tollbooth.
Way stations got introduced in the game when Road to the Black Sea was released. I thought I could sneak past it but got a 700 € ticket slammed into the face. Haven't tried it with a police car near me though, but my turn will eventually come.
Happy truckin' and be safe out there
Don't think it was Turkey, was most likely Romania as it was my first RttBS crossing and I drove down to Istanbul from either Pecs or Debrecen. The pop-up message says you have to be in the far-right lane going through the first passport check as the weighbridge is directly after that on the side, I think I went through the left one and it flashed the fine up before the boom gate had even lifted (was intending to do the weighbridge but didn't realise the lane was important)
Yes there would be border controls for the UK, but since there is no road crossing (just the ferry and the Chunnel) you could imagine it happening during the time skip (until SCS implements border controls at the ferry/train terminals).
I think so. The Schengen and EU partnership refers to private citizens to be able to travel easily between countries. In the game however, you´re not a private citizen but a corporation hauling freight between countries. So I expect there would be some kind of controls/inspections.
