Logitech G29 center spring
I can't disable the center spring. In every other of my driving games i managed to turn it off completely, but in ETS 2 I just can't. In Logitech software I can't do anything. In ETS 2 settings I didn't find that option. Please help!

Are you using the newest Logitech software (Logitech G hub)?

Also there should be centre spring slider adjustment in the control tab in the game settings. You should be able to slide that to 0

Why do you want to disable it anyway??? If anything u wanna increase it to make it more realistic. I don't think it can disable completely

Cause it burns down a 300€ wheel, no reason to use it.

because even if I'm stopped if i turn completely to the left, it comes back, I don't think it's how it works in real life

You have to start the engine so that the "Wheel servo" starts just like in any irl car or truck, after you start the engine you can freely turn it wherever.

I have a G29 since they got out and it's still like new although I use it every day, and when I don't use it, my flatmate uses it on the PS4 to play Gran Turismo ... so I can tell you from experience of about a year or so - it does not burn down. I would reccommend to watch this video from Racing Sim Garage so that you can educate yourself about how those wheels work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxT2UOmHN-I

And how does that burn down the wheel exactly? That's what the game is made for none of this stuff is bad for the wheel. Ur wheel isn't gonna break because you used centre spring. Thats what the wheel is made for using the different wheel settings in the game is going to break your wheel. LMAO

Thank you someone that actually knows about wheels and isn't using a Red a legend that broke straight away after buying it. LOL

Just to be sure, verify Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) is set to allow game to determine force feedback (ffb).

1. I assume you are using LGS. If using GHub, then this won't help unless GHub has a similar setting (I don't use GHub)
2. Select the G29 in LGS and then hit the Settings gear icon in lower right.
3. In the Settings window, select the G29 tab.
4. Under Steering Wheel, make sure there is a check mark in the box next to Allow Game to Adjust Force Settings. If not, click the box to check it.
5. Click OK at the bottom and then try the in-game settings.

It shouldn't be like that though. I have Centre Spring on using my G920 and it doesn't spring back when stopped. Disabling it would make it really unrealistic. You just need to change the correct settings. I never touched mine and it worked fine
