What do you use to play Euro Truck Simulator 2?
I use keyboard, considering buying a steering wheel, but not sure.

I've gone from Xbox controller to a steering wheel then back to a controller again. If you tweak the controls to your liking it's quite nice. A controller is terrible with the default settings though.

I could never use a keyboard for driving games.

The same control device I used for a no-hit run on Dark Souls III: Wacom USB tablet & stylus.

Keyboard and watching videos of people with a pro gear, like 6 monitors, steering wheel, chair and so on and yet they fail to stay in one lane, I drive better than they do, so not missing anything. ;)

I've met a number of people who are better at using mouse/keyboard than most people are with wheels or controllers. It comes down to skill level. Just because you have a wheel doesn't mean you'll instantly improve on driving. A wheel is nothing like an actual vehicle. It's close, but no. You'll have to relearn the steering wheel if you're used to driving a real vehicle.

I use a G29. Started with a G27, put about 2-2.5,000 hours on it before the FFB started failing(lots of noise, weak, skipping). Have about 750 hours on the G29. I first played 18 Wheels of Steel Haulin with keyboard. Then ETS2 came about and I was using an Xbox 360 Controller. Upgraded to an Xbox One controller in 2015, then bought the G27 about half a year later. And then at the beginning of 2018 I replaced the G27 with a G29.

A headtracking device is also used on occasion, but I don't like messing with setting it up with as often as I move my setup around, so lately I've just been using the look left/right keybinds.

I also have a USB encoder that I use for extra functionality since the G29 is a little lacking in static button placement(0).

So true :steamhappy:

I'm using the 360 controller plus one or two keyboard(s).

Keyboard and mouse. Always considered pedals and wheel, but as i am not that much into other sims i always forfeit that idea.

I've become so proficient at controlling my truck via pen & stylus that it longer seems challenging. I'm moving on to pure thought and focused willpower, and I'll bring back a report on how that goes.
