DLC worth getting?
Is any of the DLC worth getting? I only have the base game which I'm enjoying but I want to know if any DLC enhances the gameplay in any way.

The gameplay, perhaps not so much. But there are map expansions that may add more to the game world that you may like, such as less-band landscapes and more diverse road layouts. If you're just looking for a little fancy, perhaps Italia or the Baltic Sea might be a good starter.

I have only purchased map DLC's and have been happy with all. At the current sale prices all but Road to the Black Sea are real values. The oldest DLC, Going East, is at the bottom of everybody's list mostly because the quality of each new DLC has improved, and Going East is most like the base game without the great countryside to drive through. Otherwise, just consider where you'd like to drive and grab one. Of the heavily discounted, Beyond the Baltic is newer, followed by Italy and France. Buying at least one while on sale is for sure money well spent

Map expansions are the best DLCs to get as they provide a lot of content and are required for some World of Trucks events and mods (even mods that don't change the map may require a specific map DLC if they rely on the assets that were introduced in that DLC). These DLCs offer the biggest change in terms of gameplay as every country is different both in terms of how they look and in terms of driving rules.

It is worth pointing out that newer DLCs are definitely of higher quality compared to the old ones which is why people tend to prefer them over Going East which was the first map DLC. However Going East is worth getting especially if you want to get Beyond the Baltic or Road to the Black Sea as they both require Going East for you to go to the countries that they add over land (in case of Beyond the Baltic you can get to it via a ferry if you don't have Going East while Road to the Black Sea would require buying a garage and teleporting to it).

After that I would suggest getting the Special Transport DLC as these jobs are drastically different from regular jobs. Heavy Cargo Pack would be next on the list as the jobs it adds do impact the gameplay though not as much as the Special Transport DLC. The High Power Cargo Pack does not impact the gameplay as much however it is required for one of the achievements. There are other trailer packs (Krone Trailer Pack and Schwarzmüller Trailer Pack) but they don't impact the gameplay nearly as much as the other cargo DLCs.

Beyond that the only DLCs that impact the gameplay are the Michelin Fan Pack and Goodyear Tyres Pack as they add new tyres into the game that have different characteristics compared to the tyres in the base game.

This assumes that you don't treat customizing your trucks as part of the gameplay because if you do then Cabin Accessories, Window Flags and Wheel Tuning Pack are worth considering.

Just get it all. Even the older dlc. If you like the base game then it's more than worth it to fill out the map.

One thing I forgot to mention is that you should consider getting the bundles especially the Map Booster bundle (https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/5555/Euro_Truck_Simulator_2_Map_Booster/) as they offer additional discounts.

it is worth... SCS doens't care about the base game map so you will get get bored of the insane texture and model repetition very fast
