roof camera

As usual the Black Sea dlc has some superb scenery but most of it cannot be seen from the cab, which seems a waste of the developers excellent work. I often use the roof camera with the help of the top corner mirrors to drive so that I can see "over the hedge"that gives a chance to admire the surrounding area. I was wondering if it would be possible for SCS to make the roof camera rotate. just a thought!!

Have you try use the '8' key? (bird perspective)

- if not, then try it... but be ready to hit the '9' key, because it's difficult to steer in the '8' mode. :)

Suggest it over at the SCS Forum. While you're at it, It'd be great if they made all the other cameras able to rotate. We can rotate camera 5, but not 7(wheel cam). I would love to rotate 7.

agreed, i would like to be able to rotate the roof cam, since it does give a good view of the surroundings.

Certain camera views designed to static orientation as they does IRL and as for game design it gives advantage to increase framerates by rendering only the visible truck parts. Besides, rotating the exterior view while driving is similar like texting while driving IRL. If you want to enjoy the views, just pull over, set the parking brake, and press 0.
