Is it worth it to get better trailers?
I have a flatbed trailer, it's working well for me, but I have to wonder how much more money I could be getting more money from a curtainsider or an insulated trailer. I'm also worried that these trailers will reduce the number of jobs available to me.

I think it's safe to follow the infallible rule of thumb "if it's more expensive, it's better" but you know, I need to double check.

Νο.

Υou will have more jobs and I am talking only for the "Cargo Market" of course. Jobs have dependence with various trailer types!

There are always dry cargo jobs in all cities, so I think there always will be jobs for curtainsides trailers.

Each trailer can only haul certain loads. The best trailer right now in my opinion is the Reefer. You can haul general goods, refrigerated goods and frozen goods.

I'd agree with the reefers/curtain siders being most useful / utilised, All of the ones I've bought are , going by the numbers, in use almost constantly.
The least used and utilised is by a long margin the steel floor flatbed, while the wooden floor version seems, like the curtain sider, to have no shortage of loads, the steel floor sits around and gathers dust . This based on a smallish game with 40 or so trucks and drivers, so i guess results will vary game to game

It may be that the drivers are simply taking the wood-floor versions first , when available, thus making the steel-floor appear to not be as useful. Try moving the wood-floor versions to a garage with no drivers and see if those steel-floor versions don't get used. :)
