How to switch between garages?

I have 2 garages, the main in Austria and another in France. I switched to another truck in the French garage but I spawned in the Austrian garage. If I move any truck to the French garage and choose "drive this truck" I always end up in Austria (main garage), regardless from multy or single player. I don't use any mods. How this works ?

The game will always spawn you to your "Home" garage.

To change where you spawn, you will need to change your "Home" garage.

Get in the truck you want to drive then "jump" to the garage you want to drive from in garage manager. Bear in mind that the cargo on offer may change whilst you are moving to that garage.
If there is a particular load you want to drive from a certain garage check the expiry time. It may not be long enough to allow you to travel to that garage and still be there.

Using Quick Travel between garages takes time, however relocating your truck and yourself to another garage (ie moving your headquarters) is instantaneous.

Thank you for the answers! I managed to switch between my garages by using the "jump to garage" button in the garage manager. However I did not find any option to relocate my main garage (HQ). Is it possible somewhere and if yes what are the benefits ?

You relocate your headquarters (which is really nothing more than the default garage you teleport to when the game updates) by relocating yourself in the Driver Management screen (you'll have to relocate your truck as well if you want to keep driving it). Unless it has been patched in the recent updates, the bonus of doing this is that it is an instantaneous teleport rather than a "quick travel" (which takes time), I used that feature a lot when I was gunning for the 2200km/€130,000 Profit Hunter achievement in ETS2 (I had garages in western/Northern England and SE Hungary and needed to teleport to one of them instantly when an appropriate job appeared regardless of where I currently was on the map)

TLDR: relocate your truck to the garage that you want as your "HQ", then relocate yourself (your driver/character) to that truck in the aforementioned garage. That is your "HQ" then.

talking about garages I have some problems in the game...maybe you can help me

1. even if I have a 3 bay garage i managed to fit 5 trailers there...how is it possible?
2. some of my drivers have a truck and a trailer, other drivers have just the truck....and I cannot buy a trailer just for those who don't have one -_-
3. After I bought a trailer and selected in which garage to go, how I can select the truck or the driver of that garage that I want that trailer to go?

1. It just is, there is no limit to how many trailers per garage.

2. They will take whatever they want depending on what loads are available.
