Best scania sound mod

I want a sound mod for the RJL that isn't any of that V8 open pipe crackle stuff but more like the sound you would get with a out of the box basic scania from the factory. I also want it to be able to hear it quite well when in the cab.

Are you looking for a "normal" V8 sound or the even more normal straight 6 engine sound?

Might wanna check Kriechbaums Stock V8 sound. At least i liked it quite alot before i moved to the open pipe sound version when the MG stuff arrived:

Thats actually a good question. To be honest, i dunno. For the older models i went with the modded RJL truck versions and the Open Pipe sound from the get go.

Ok, thats what I would like to find because the open pipe is kind of getting annoying for me.

Personally, for V8 sounds I prefer the sound mods by Alexander Swift for both old and new Scania generations

They are a bit closer to the real one (apart from idel sound) and have a slightly better immersion
Kriechbaum's sound mods are great as well

For a non V8, anything by Engine Voice Records!
By far the most realistic and outstanding sound mods I've ever seen, or heard =P

I tried one of the alexander swift mods for the new scania but it changed the handling of my truck, I don't remember wich one it was.
