Option or mod to remove crosses?
I always follow the red line on my route advisor so I never ever just turn into a road I see somewhere. Hence those rows of crosses you see all over the place on roads you can't drive into is totally killing the immersion for me. I would like to have the IDEA that every road I see is drivable and those crosses make me aware all the time that I am driving in a very limited map. So... is it possible to remove those crosses somehow? With an option, a config hack or maybe a mod? That would REALLY make things a lot nicer for me.

I am using the latest version of ETS2 with all DLC regions (Scandinavia, East, France, Italy).

The X's in the road are either future development or spawn points for AI vehicles to come from. There's no point in removing them if they go no where cause it aint built. If you want to play on routes that have been built and the X's removed or from the game, then download promods. It is of course on 'your head' if it goes wrong and or corrupts saves or you loose everything. It isn't supported here but there is a forum and the download here.

There will be plenty to help you. Just don't go whining when SCS release a patch or new DLC and it doesn't work! Some players here think it's a god-given-right that a 3rd party unsupported mod (that charges you to download it be it a $1 x that by thousands a day!) should be SCS responsibility to make it *work* with Promods...yeah,right

There is a mod called no deadends, it does exactly what you want.
I use it along with sewer mod, it gets rid of the green floating boxes at pickup points, fuel, tolls, etc. Replaces them with manhole covers on the ground.

Where XBL Laberbacke linked to. man I'm slow. LOL

Yes, I also wondered where that was coming from LOL But thanks for the link: I will give it a try tonight! (And also thanks to TB-Death2-U for the effort! ;) )

EDIT
Installed it, works like a charm!
