Poor performance with decent PC - NO MAP MODS

Hi, I've been getting framerates between 30-50 most of the time when playing this. At the minute, I am getting 50fps on a motorway using a stock SCS truck,, with no graphics mods,, no modded parts and no map mod. System specs are on my profile. Any way to increase performance so I can get 60 100% of the time?

lower some settings, on a normal road you really shoudl get 60 fps, with that hardware.
but you wont get 60 fps in all cities, i think

All maxed. 100% scaling

Really I should be getting 60fps everywhere considering my GPU smashes the reccomended ones.

Better turn off AA (it's not great in this game), use scaling instead for this purpose. I think you should be able to play with 300% or even 400%.

Also I suggest to always turn off Depth of Field and Motion Blur in all games. These effects actually make image worse (though more cinematic).

well what GPU do you have you havent explained what CPU/GPU you are using, some setting may be stretching the limit of your card what is the amount of VRAM you have? also definately turning off motion blur and DoF is always best as they dont really enhance the quality and normally just take up parts of the gpu power. Edit: well after checking your profile it seems you do have a sufficient card and processor to run but the problem must be in the settings, maybe the 970 now isnt adequate to run max everything on 1080p im guessing its the 4gb vram which apperently the 970 was actually released only with 3.5gb usuable

Turned off Anti Aliasinging, DoF, changed mirror distance from Ultra to High, bumped scaling up to 125% and seem to be getting 60fps where I was getting 45fps. So all this seems to have worked
