If it won't happen on newly created profile without any mods, then it is mod, or post-mod issue. Try different truck, sell one and buy new one, or check on quick jobs. Try to check, if it is general, or truck related.
Try what xyzan says with a brand new profile. Profiles that have had mods in the past are not truly clean, mods do leave traces in the save file.
I uninstalled ETS and reinstalled it, started a clean game without mods and added them back bit by bit and the problem seems to be gone, I think it may have been a porsche mod I had that wasn't compatible with 1.31 (although it said it was).
Anyway I'll keep my hopes up that it still works! Thanks so much to everyone!!
Modders sometimes think "my generic reflections are better than SCS" and include theirs in their mod, with the same name as the default files, which can cause the anomaly pictured in the OP.
Depending on which files are overridden it could be glass, chrome, paint, etc.
I do use a fair few mods and everytime I download on I check for the environment folder and remove it. Since doing this I do not see the "colour glitch" anymore.
