Lift Axel
curious question about this....the tri axel...can all trucks use them on a chassie (i know that might be wrong so sorry in advance) and how would you lower it so the wheels would be on the ground and is there much of a difference when it is lifted or lowered

I think Ive seen something about lifting axel in settings, may be wrong though.
there is an auto lift axle drop in the options . If you want to do it manually you have to turn that off and have a button/key etc etc bound to it to use it . Both truck and some trailers also have a lift axle so you can use both if bound . For me i use the trailer lift axle to get around tighter corners i lift it for that because i find it has a tighter turning radius with it up , less stable but thats fine for me .

You can assign a key for lifting the axle in the settings.

If you have a trailer with three axles and you lift the first axle (counting from the front of the trailer) the turning radius becomes bigger.

If I use a chassis with a lift axle, I usually use the midlift. The midlift axle doesn't lower automatically, if a trailer is attached to the truck. You will have to do that manually. If you don't lower it, you have a 4x2 chassis.I use it up to about 10 t freight weight. With the axle down you have an additional steering axle, which improves stability.

The taglift chassis is - in my opinion - pretty much useless with a tractor. It would make sense though with a rigid truck. The only advantage is a tight turning radius while bobtailing. The axle comes down automatically, if you attach a trailer. So, in fact, you have a 6x2 chassis. Only with a very low freight weight the axle stays up (3t or less - my experience).
tag lift looks so much better in my opinion but as said only benifical for loads under 3 ton
