And it's not legal to speed when you are passing another vehicle. ;)

You could just say "screw it" and do what I do. Push and punt the AI idiots if they're crawling along. Especially slow stupid trucks and creeping caravans gets ... a "special" treatment! :longhaul::steammocking:

Exactly. You can set an option (gameplay I think) for the nav system to show the truck speed limit instead of the 'actual' speed limit too, which can be helpful.

It's a bit unfair :-(

I've been playing EuroTruck for a long time, it annoys me that when I drive a truck , it's got a ticket from time to time for causing collison even if not see any other car at all :-(

80 kph is just shy of 50 mph. This is extremely slow given the extensive multi-lane highway system in Europe. 90 kph is just 55 mph which is a generally slow norm in the US. On our interstate systems, 70 mph (112 kph) is normal for cars and trucks. I certainly feel for the European truck drivers in this respect.

It also is what it is ;)

UK - Speeds shown in MPH (km/h in brackets):

Germany - Speeds in hm/h.

Most traffic deaths in the US are not so much from the speed limits of trucks, as much as its various other factors (standards for licensing, costs (which can increase/decrease the amount of registered drivers and vehicles), etc. Then you have to consider that some states do have a considerably lower speed limits for trucks too (California is 55 mph) and can still have quite a few rough accidents.

How come the AI trucks go well above the limit? I always set cruiser speed to the road limit and
they still pass me like nothing

the same for me :-)

You can drive up to 10 % over the limit without getting fined in ETS2. So if the limit is 80 km/h, some AI trucks are probably driving 88.

Sometime i think AI is cheating :-(

Sometimes the AI is slow, sometimes they go over the limit. I like to imagine they get ticketed from time to time.
