Never buy keys from HRKgame
Hello guys, recently I did s dummy mistake, I bought the Beyond The Baltic Sea from HRK. They werr offering the best price, so I just bought it. Of course, there was a little box saying 'outside of europe'... I contacted their support and they almost immediatelly promised me refund to paypal. But now, it's been over a week and they didn't respond and neither sent the money, so I opened another ticket. They replied on it in less than 30 minutes saying: "Please follow your issue on your another ticket:" addressing the previous ticket, where they are ignoring me. So I accepted the money loss.

Whatever, it isn't too much, I took my lection, so I am just letting you know, that buying keys from HRK isn't safe, their support is useles.

Paypal tends to side with the buyer, so if they keep ignoring it just escalate the ticket to Paypal when you can.

I'll just post this here: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=264305&p=1037446

I don't know if HRK are a reseller, never heard of them until this post TBH.

complain to paypal they will refund it for you .. save all your chat etc etc so you have "proof" paypal is pretty darn good at getting you your money back . you can even call them on the phone and talk to a real human .

Steam, Humble Bundle and Fanatical are authorised for key sales and like Steam, they have periodic sales on products there as well. So stick to authorised sellers of Steam keys from here on.

A customer can request a charge back on something they brought and if the scammer is unhappy and this goes down the legal path, restricted activities points it out as clear as day, so long as the customer has all documentation about what is going on and can give that to paypal, paypal are legally obliged to look into the matter and if the buyer is is not being completely honest in transparency for paypal's liking and is looking like it is a scam? rule 9b, e, f, g, h is immediately breached and that is enough right there. if the scammer is attempting to hide who they are by VPN? that is 9J breached.

Edit: one word changed.

Here is a review of HRKgame, from Trustpilot.
https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/hrkgame.com

If you read all the "reviews" they look suspicously like fake profiles and fake customer reviews. There is too much commonality to the words and sentences used.

Just my opinion. Having looked at this alone, despite your OP, I don't think I would trust them but thanks for the heads up also.

Thats geeat, I will definitelly contact PayPal, the truth is, that ithe price was really suspicious for me, so I decided, that I will just login to PayPal in the payment section (I am using paypal for online shopping a lot, and everytime I do this, I see the extact price in my currency including VAT, and to proceed payment, I have to confirm it via phone), but this time, I somehow activated Paypal onetouch, so it did the payment without any need of a confirmation... so I kinds bought it without really wanting to😂😂 whatever, I'll read more carefully nect time.

Lmao, all the reviews were written just a few hours/days ago. I wouldnt trust them if I read the reviews first... I thought "it is just one key for 8€, so what can go wrong?" So immature.
So let this be a warning for others😂😂

Just as an FYI, if you're the type of person to read reviews for items/sites always start with the bad reviews. Those are the ones that matter.

If most of the complaints are dumb (like postage times and stuff) then you have a fair idea that they are probably legit. But if they are overflowing with wrong items, damaged items, no contact, no support, missing items... Well then you should probably just avoid. ;)

This site will list whichever place has the lowest price for things. They monitor Steam, Humble Store, Fanatical, GameBillet, Direct2Drive, and others.
