2. There's a fog mod coming, snow is a pipe dream
5. SCS want their world to look nice, so bad road surface is pretty unlikely
6, 7. Not gonna happen, licensing
8. Temperature varies by climate, thing is that the game is set in a permanent summer solstice
9. I'd be interested in a link
10. Coming most likely after DirectX upgrade
Regarding this I also have some ideas to have more fun in this part of the game as well:
1. It would be awesome if the pricing of the trucks was closer to real. Right now the DAF for example is extremely expensive in the game.
2. The older version trucks could be sold as "used trucks" with a degree a damage to be repaired. You could buy it on a much lower price but you can customize only fewer things on it obviously. Alternatively in some dealership services you can customize your used trucks too but on the normal new pricing list. (Therefore an engine change could easily cost 50% or more of the purchase price of a certain used truck)
The income could be reduced a little so that in career mode you must start with a used truck in that little old shed you got at the beginning. You can still start your enterprise with other drivers driving used trucks but it would take a bit more time to buy the Scania 730 top machine.
3. I now it's probably licensing but in the "18 wheels of steel" you could manage your drivers jobs...so to say you could do the logistic behind driving. It would be nice to have that function so that we can plan a week of work and therefore your drivers can make round tours besides the back and forth deliveries. Better organising for more income if you wish.
Of course if someone doesn't want to do that he can hire a logistics worker at the hire agency on the same price as a driver. It could go with every garage separately so this way you can determine how many drivers' jobs you want to organise yourself.
Have fun!
I hope developers can read my ideas, too :)
