Tolls in Germany?
So when you drive through Germany there are these gantries that appear to serve nothing but be aesthetics, however they are actually toll gantries for trucks. I'd like to ask will Germany become a country with toll roads like France, or will it just be the way it is now - those gantries just stand around without a real purpose?

Thats how the german system works. We dont need to stop at any barrier for the toll.

Maybe he wants the player driver to pay in the game.

No, I just noticed those gantries, then I read about their purpose, then I got curious as to why those gantries serve no real purpose in the game. If you build gantries without a real purpose, what's the point to them? They DO have an IRL purpose, and that is tolling trucks on the German autobahn. If you seriously think I want players to pay more cash, then seriously, are you on weed or something? I only want them to function like they do IRL for realism's sake.

Doesn't this amount to the same thing? I understand you're not advocating for players to be fined more, however, having these tolls enabled does just that. ;) Semantics are fun!

edit: I support the idea. Promods has done a similar no-stop truck toll on a bridge near London.

SCS has done that too on different toll gates over the years too.

Problem for implementing german tolls might be that scs would have to add toll checks outside of the autobahn too, as for some years trucks have to pay on other roads too.

ProMods tested it some time ago

Not sure why SCS hasn't gotten around to adding it, it's not just Germany with this system, and it would've fit the rework of Germany…
