However, that being said. Some of the older content in ETS2 is dated and it shows. Germany has been getting a rework to make it more visually appealing, so its likely other countries will get the same treatment over time as they release more for the game. And of course, ATS is also getting more content too.
I can't say which game to go with, so just get both, or buy whichever suits your fancy more.
No it's Not. ATS is far Superior.
It's because coffee is better than tea. It gives you the Hershey squirts like nobody's business, so there isn't a constipated ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in sight. Unlike Europe.
OP, they're both excellent games. If you're from the US, you might prefer roads that are kind of like real life, and you'll drive trucks you're used to seeing every day. If you're from the other side of the Pond, you might like ETS 2 for the same reasons. Or, you might want to see it from the "other person's" point of view.
ETS 2 does have more content right now, but there is plenty of content in ATS as well. You really can't go wrong with either one. If you can't afford both, you could flip a coin, and still be happy.
Not sure if everyone got that my first reply was to be taken lightly, but it looks like you got it :-)
Other than that, i totally agree with you if i had to give a more serious answer.

Excellent well explained reasoning I 100% agree with, I have both but tend to lean more towards ETS2 because it's the part of the world I actually live in & it does have loads more content but it's got a few years head start on ATS but I'm just glad the game is still so popular
