Steering wheel not working?

I just bought a tracer sierra wheel+pedals but right after starting the game noticed it just goes full right or full left. Same thing with the pedals.
Checked the wheel's calibration on windows and it shows the same problem too. Just +127 or -127. The buttons seem to work ok.

I've installed and reinstalled the software several times from the cd, let windows configure it and tried downloading it from the official site just in case, but it still doesn't work.
Any ideas? ty.

go to the manufactures website and download Current drivers . also go on youtube/google for assistance with your specific wheel.

Yep that's what i meant i've downloaded the drivers from the official site. I've seen someone on Steam with the same problem but the only response was a youtube video that's no longer available...

I just loaded ETS 2 and ATS after many months of not using either and have this same issue. However, I have a Fanatec pedal set and two of the three pedals are stuck on extreme execution, but one works properly. Changing the invert setting or any other option does not cure it. The buttons on my wheel were/are also not configuring consistently. Very odd, since the controllers are identified by the game straight away.

If i remember well you have to push the little button in the center that says "MODE", and then it should work properly.
