How to download promods?

For free. I went to their website. It said DOWNLOAD THESE FILES (many files), EXTRACT TO YOUR GAME OCATION...it's pretty hard. I'd be thankful if someone explained me how to do it easily.

If you don't want to pay 1$ you have to download all files on the right side (7 of them). Once you do that, extract those files using 7zip or WinRar (in the video that part is skipped). After you extract them keep following the video instructions.

Simply go to promod's website https://promods.net/

Simple go to the promod website register yourself before you can download it, that don't cost you to register you. Then choose if you want a free download that takes a little longer to download or if you want to pay 1 $ to download a faster version. Follow the guide on the promod website how to do it very simple and isen't very difficult to do. It's written so everyone can understand it.

Remember to download the latest version at the moment it is version promods version 2.41 there are a total of 7 SCS files you need in your Mod folder

ProMods was at one point bigger and better than the game and it has lost some of it appeal only very recently because SCS started updating the old map, so no, ProMods is not a ' silly little map ', at all.

promods is free if you want it but you have to download the files one by one

I'm with those who say that ProMods is quite good. It gives territories that might not be seen in years (if at all), and before recently, made the Autobahn more realistic (and less terrifying) to drive on (I mean, it's all cool if you like signs that lie about how they're going to split up and having to jump at the last second I guess). SCS is now redoing the older parts of the map, but Promods is still worth getting. It actually enhances the default map. If anyone has all the map DLCs, my recommendation is always to get it!

Also as mentioned, PM is only paid if you want to get it in one file with a slightly faster download speed. Most people just do the 7 file approach, I've done it for quite some time and rarely ran into issues.

The thread on the forum is pretty good about explaining how to set it up, including a good screenshot of the load order (important!)

Don't listen to that gamer guy, he needs to learn to stfu, Promods is a great addition to the game.

If you want to download the free version mind the server load, if it's low you're good to go, if it's high you best wait, it's gonna be a struggle then.
But if you have the one dollar or so on a paypal account, it's well worth it.

After downloading and extracting the 7 rar files (free Dl) it works the same as any other none workshop mod, pay attention to the load order.
you'll also maybe want the Middle East addon for it, you can get the free download for that too, it's only like 9mb or something, no need to pay for a fast server.

Also make sure you create the def file (it's prompted when you follow the steps for downloading).
You'll get settings options (i usually ignore that/keep it default).
