Yeppers, so did many, myself included. Steam give us some stupid update and killed many mods for a lot of games. I'm sure, none of their content was lost in the process.

I've never seen that before and I was thinking I'm still subscribed...guess it's something they need to fix hopefully sooner than later. Thanks for letting me know it's not just me good sir.

I had the same issue, however only the local files were missing, I was still subscribed to all mods. I closed the Steam client and started it again and currently it's downloading all my subscribed workshop content again.

RELAX ITS JUST MOD UPDATES DONT REMOVE THE MODS DO FOLLOWING

1 let all the mods update

2 once thats done load up the main menu - check your mods all red crosses should be gone and they auro rtactivate automaticly

3 load the main game up then hit drive then pause game save game then exit game then reload and all your mods will be fine if you dont save the game in game then exit steam then reload steam all mods redownload again you MUST load up the game fully then save in game then once you reload steam later on if you do other stuff you wont get mod update loop :D

once all mods have updated/finished even if your in game exit game after mods updated then reload game check mods all red crosses on active mods are gone and mods reactivated then just load up the game /main area goto drive as in drive truck then hit pause save game exit then the mods updates are locked in

for anyone else asking - i had same problem this is what todo

1 let mods update fully (red crosses on installed mods temp) DONT REMOVE INSTALLED MODS

2 once all mods updated even if you in game - EXIT GAME - reload game

3 check all mods - all mods not have red crosses no more /mods are updated

4 load game up fully on one of your saves that says mods missing ignore that

5 once in game hit drive - drive truck quick then pause then save game exit reload all is working fine if you dont save your game in main area of game where drive truck is then later on reload steam you will get a mod update loop

i fixed it by loading game after mods updated saved in game exit game put backup save in nother folder exit steam reloaded steam and no more mod update loops

Could be win 10 update that made user files removed, it happens for some users, just a "feature" that has reappeared for decades..
