WOT, server down due to maintenance???

Ooooh Come on...I was almost at the end of my final Good Year delivery to get the pack and the server went down. Now I am stuck wondering why was the event even extended if they were going to turn it down for server maintenance. The extended event ends at Saturday August 3rd, 23:59 CEST (21:59 UTC). The in-game info mentioned only the UTC time and the announcement in the community had both CEST as well as UTC. This is probably why most of us might have got confused, mixing up the time regarding when the event was ending By the time server is up and running, the event would have ended ... Is anyone else facing the same issue?

Probable reason why the server is down might be due to the end of event.

Agreed. It was way too short but for 10 Good Year deliveries it should have been sufficient but none of us get the time to accomplish 10 long deliveries at a stretch. Ending the extended event at the announced time would be have been fine though instead of ending it before the said time. I hope they do something about this.

Yes. Did the final one last night, and downloaded the Goodyear DLC.

But it says the event ends 23:59 CEST (21:59 UTC). I think you got the times mixed up. The server went down at the exact time that the event was supposed to end. At least, that's what happened on my end. I would be thrilled if there was another extension.

Awesome. Good for you ... I had other works yesterday. I had to sit down and play today to achieve the event goal but however now it doesn't matter because the event will end before the server is up. It just annoying because I had only 7 minutes remaining to complete my 10th delivery

The event was fairly easy. I just did Paris to Le Mans and back again 5x. Seemed an obvious route to try and it worked out pretty well. But I agree on the timescale, should have been at least a full 7 days.

I raced my butt off to do all ten tonight and finished at 9.30pm. The easiest milk run was in Scandinavia, whereby it just kept regenerating runs back and forth - 148mile.

Right. The announcement had different time zone update of the end of event. Inside the game, the event info just mentioned about UTC and in the announcement in the community had CEST as well as UTC. I guess that is one of the reasons why many including myself got the event ending time mixed up. Damn, now i'm even more pissed on myself, Lol

Hope they extend it again. 3days not long considering most events last about 1-4 weeks.

Yeah, the shortest Good Year deliveries where from Scandinavia. I was surprised at first because in the announcement they had said, the deliveries will be long.

Might be but i just realized one other fact. Most of us have got the time mixed up. They should have announced the ending of event either in CEST or UTC. They announced in both timezone differences and that is what has caused the confusion as far I see from what others players are saying too.
