Lost Controller key bindingd

I have a logitech F310 gamepad

After the recent mini update, when I started the game the gamepad was not detected & I lost all its key bindings in the settings

Also when I tried to redetect the same from the input wizard, it showed as if detected but still the default basic gamepad settings of LT & RT as brake & acceleration were not working...

I wondered how else can I set the gamepad again

I have ATS too I havnt started it yet after the mini update for same too...I hope the gamepad is still there in it...

Make sure you didn't hit the Mode button and change it to whatever that does. I hit that by accident the other day and couldn't steer until I hit it again.

And make sure the switch on the back is set to "X"

I wonder if this is related: I have an Xbox360 game controller setup via Steam Controller Configurator for chords and double-clicks on the controller etc. Today all of the buttons (hat, ABXY buttons, LB, RB) stopped registering inside ETS2. I'd prefer not to bind the controller via the game, but something seems to have changed in the last 24 hours. But I'm not sure what. However the triggers and mushrooms still work. How strange.

Sounds similar to the issue I am facing...

Did you accidentally move the X/D switch on the bottom of the gamepad? If the controller is directly seen in the game controller options screen and there are two gamepad entries, try to select the one named "XInput Gamepad X".

Sometimes the Steam Input gets into state where there is a mismatch between what the game and steam client think about the configuration. In that case it helps to restart the Steam Client.

Sometimes the Steam Input gets into state where there is a mismatch between what the game and steam client think about the configuration. In that case it helps to restart the Steam Client.

No I did not move the x/d switch on the bottom... Yes you are right before this issue I use to select the xinput gamepad x entry...but now since 2 days this entry is missing..

Try going to your ETS user folder (not the game install, the one that is likely in my documents unless you use the command to move it) and copying the controls.sii from one of your backups to the currently used profile directory.

If the entry you see in the game is named like "Steam Emulated Controller", then you have the controller opted into the Steam Input.
