To reduce the payments for jobs you will need to find and subscribe to a hard economy mod on the Steam Workshop

If you only want lower income you do not need any mod. Go to "your documents" Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\*********** If you have only one profile open that profile folder and open the config.cfg in there with notepad. Find this line: uset g_income_factor "1.0" You can change the "1.0" to for example "0.5" or a value you choose, then close and save the document.

Changing xp values is a bit more complicated. You need to open the def.scs in the gamefolder with scs_extractor (copy the file somewere else first) and edit the economy_data.sii file. And then save it as a mod. Maybe easier to use a mod ;)

Or change the cash multiplier in config files.

Max (one of the devs) said realistic would be 0.25 IIRC. But it's one heck of a grind.

No need to use mods that you have to constantly update when you can just edit the config/use dev con.

od i find def.scs but i can´t open it with program downloaded from this page https://modding.scssoft.com/wiki/Documentation/Tools/Game_Archive_Extractor
is there any other?

Drop the def.scs on the scs_extractor.exe and wait for it to complete resulting in a new def folder. Remember to have the extractor in a separate folder and copy the scs files there.

You can also use any of the existing and working mods and edit the values to your liking. Just make sure you keep either backups of those edits or, in case its a workshop item copy the def folder into a new folder in your local ETS mods folder and run it from there, otherwise your changes will be overwritten as soon as the mod gets an update via steam.

Ok i have it. Now how i change custom and def folder back to normal scs format?

If you have not made any changes in the custom folder you do not need to ad it to your modfile. Rightklick on your def folder and ad it to a new .zip folder using 0 compresion. You can use .zip files for mods. You can rename the zip to something different then def if you want. manifest.sii, mod_description.txt and mod_image.jpg is optional to make it show up in the modhandler ingame with desription and picture.
