Reinstalling/update mouse drivers is not going to hurt, try different USB ports (blue USB 3)
Edit: And it's been the case ever since I've been playing this game, even prior to the DX11 update so it's not tied to that.
Sadly none of these solutions helped my case. I don't have an issue with the mouse itself, it's working as intended. But in the game menu it's just too slow and thus it's cumbersome to use.
If the Vertical Sync is enabled i have the same mouse lag in game menus, if it is disabled there is no mouse lag.
(Edit - spelling)
Thank you! This helped. Disabling vertical synchronization within the Nvidia Control Panel mitigated this annoying issue. It's still not 100% direct but much better than before. Thanks again.
Not so simple after all. Because who would think that v-sync slowed down the mouse in the first place, and that it can be adjusted at two places (both within the game and within the Nvidia CP). But what matters is we found the solution. :)
No, no. You missed my point. The other poster, Kaki (who cleverly understood the potential for folks to mess their systems up, deleted his post) had said that someone had updated their bios and it had sorted the mouse issue. Some people go the whole hog and reinstall the OS! Which is what I was meaning about 'simplest solution', because it was and could have been a helluva lot more serious.
It's obviously a hit or miss as I don't have an issue and this is the first post I can remember with that issue in. As you say, remember it, print it out lol and never forget the solution
THANK YOU...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been battling for years with this and concur not 100% but soooo much better..
UPDATE: Turns out it really my mouse.. my logitech G402 got the lag, when i switch to my cheap mouse (no brand) the lag is gone (also i tested it with pentab and it was fine too).. it's kinda strage that my G402 mouse only had problem with this game tho
UPDATE: For those who lag with logitech mouse, turn down pooling rate to 500 in logitech app, and the lag is gone.. (the cause might because the game doesn't support high pooling rate since new direct 11 update??)
Finally, the solution I've been looking for!
In the Logitech G Hub, on the mouse senstivity tab, change Report Rate to the lowest setting and all is solved! (125) I've set this only for ETS2 as it doesn't impact anything else.
