But if they don't come with one (for whatever reason), I'd look into adding a Thrustmaster TH8A shifter to it (works as standalone usb-device).
*edit: as to their condition, that's anyone's guess when buying second hand
These are of course things to consider. My assumption when replying was that the OP has checked the pricing of second hand vs. new G920 or G29 (and other wheels) and came to the conclusion it's a lot cheaper. Which it may be.
But as said, when buying new you get a warranty (i think it's 2 years with Logitech usually), so you can get repairs/replacements easy.
That said, a lot of people also sell these wheels when upgrading to better equipment, and not just because they're broken etc.
As an example, if I was to upgrade now, I could be one of those people selling a G27, which has worked flawlessly for 6+ years now (the only problem being some wear and tear to the leather on the shifter and a few stitches on the wheel. But mechanically it still works like new)
