How To Update Mods

If i download a mod for example v1.0 and then v1.1 gets released how do i update the mod. Can i just delete the mod file and download v1.1 and install or what way does is work?

If you have downloaded the mod through Steam Workshop, then you don't need to worry about updating, as it gets updated automatically whenever the modder updates it. On the other hand, if you have downloaded it through other websites, then you will have to download the latest version of the mod and install it, and no need to delete the old mod in your folder, but just remove it from the mod folder from the game and use the new one that you have just downloaded instead.

Sometimes, with truck and trailer mods, you have to sell the one(s) you're using first before you can update to the new version.

like the first guy said..if its steam workshop mods they update automatically ..if you downloaded them elsewhere then you have to go look for the mod and see if it has been updated , if so download install and remove the old one . Rinse and repeat till theyre all updated .
