Is their a Way to pick end location?
Does anyone know if their is a way to select a node on the map and pick it as an end location like how you can pick one to start from, or if their is a mod for it?

You can sort the jobs list by the delivery town but you must have discovered that town before hand.

Edit. So yeah, it doesn't work like that.

Of course not, in ETS2 and ATS all the jobs the routes is random. So no you cant customize and decide where you want too deliver the trailer, then this games is not for you. Mayby you can find another Hauling game that has that freedom you are looking for, i just know that i have never seen it none of SCS truck games.

He's not asking to generate custom jobs, he's just wanting the job list to only show jobs that end at a specific city. And I agree with him, this would be a really nice feature that we don't currently have in the game, and something I have wanted to do many times myself. By the way, I believe you could do this in ETS1.

And then scroll through hundreds of jobs going to different cities until you get to the one city you want. Sure, it's easier since they're in alphabetical order, but it's still cumbersome.

Hypertext explained it better then i did, but indeed that.

I did see you could scroll through the hundreds of tabs and pray you find the country you want or even the city. It would just be a nice thing to have.
Its not a huge deal or anything but being able to select a town you want to end up at especialy with promods and rusmap would be great.

I just verified for myself that this indeed is the case. In ETS1, you choose a specific city or a specific cargo (but not both) and then it shows you the job list. Job generation appears to be very different though.

You can also sort the jobs by distance. Deliveries to the same city will only be different by a few miles, so they should be easy to find in the list. That is of course if you have your own truck and the same starting point for every job.

So to confim his question

So he asking if we fancy going to Paris and start from say Liverpool we wants to see jobs that take us down the map so say Liverpool to Manchester to say London then London to Paris?

So if we parked at our Liverpool garage get jobs that take us to Paris with the above drop off points ?

If I understand this correctly that be a nice thing to have:)

If you select your location on the map you will get localised jobs for your current city which reduces the job list a lot but if that is still to much perhaps you need a new game called truck manager, also note that job are available for limited time so you could drive or port to a particular garage for a job only to find its not available unless you select quick jobs but then you lose the option of driving your own truck and payoff is less.

It doesn't help if you're doing quickjobs to get certain achievements. It doesn't matter where you start, it only matters where you end.

No, not asking for drop off points, just want to go directly to point B. I don't know about Hirooshii, but I don't even care where point A is, I just want to get to point B somehow (for achievements, as mentioned above).

Although, if you wanted to go from Liverpool to Manchester specifically, and then from there to London specifically, and from there to Paris, there is already an easy way to do that (see racdavies post).

I would kill for this for the current xmas event.. i'm trying to get to a specific city that isn't already maxed out - but i pretty much have to free roam there, take job elsewhere and then free roam back because it's pretty frustrating trying to find a job that will get me from point A to point B.

Ah crap - sorry, didn't see this was a dead thread.. just saw Jan :D and not two years ago! On a roll.
