Scania 143M MOD

Hi, I recently got the Scania 143 Mod. It is one of the best trucks in my opinion. The only problem I have is that when I try to back up under a trailer to attach it, it doesn't fit. Is this normal, is it because the mod can't be made to it works perfectly or is it because there is something wrong with it. It happens with all trailers. I am able to attach it but I must go really fast and I sometimes damage the trailer and/or truck when doing it as the truck doesn't fit under the trailer. Modding rule N. 1. Don't download mods from mod sites, only the forums. Looks like that fix is not even made by the author himself, don't use it.

Why forum for mod and not site?

On the forum they are usually (99.99%) from the original author, on the several other sites they very often (99.99%) are not.

It's really up to you where you download your mods from, but if you want mods that are up to date and from the original author your best chances are on the official scs forum and the steam workshop.

Of course not every mod is uploaded to those 2 options, and you may find things you want elsewhere, but in the end it's not nice to use stolen mods uploaded by someone just wanting to make money from other authors mods, so imho one should always try to get a mod made and shared by the original creator, no matter the site it's on.

But for example, i make skins for ets2 and only upload to the steam workshop, but sometimes in a matter of a few hours they can be found on several mod sites, and that happens a lot, not just with mine, but with just about everyone's, and creators usually don't like that because the thief is making money from the mods made by others posting them on dodgy sites.

some ppl are in the present not in the stoneage like this forum.

thats why many look for things elsewhere.

So is the problem that I mentioned because of the website i got it from? Would this mod fix the issue?

If the forum version is newer, possibly.

Also are you by any chance using the big Michelin tires? They do not fit under some trailers (known issue).

I might try downloading it from a forum. And no I am not using any different tyres like you said. The only modification I did in game was upgrade to a better engine. Thats it. Thanks for you help guys. If it works I will let you know

I get now that the mods are probably not from the original authors on mod sites but I always thought ets2.it was a good mod site as lots of youtubers reccomended this site such a Squirrel. I think this site is good for mods that are not infected and are safe to download but not all the mods are original and work properly
