Audio crackling and horrible distortion on headphones

I have g432,7.1 surround headset and when i start playing ets2 horrible crackling and "earrape" starts to happens,any idea ?

Maybe something with how the game performs on that 7.1 multichannel.

I'm using 5.1 and it works fine. So try to set the speaker configuration to 5.1.

its an old game so youre lucky to even get 5.1 working . If 5.1 doesnt work just use regular ol stereo ..I know....stereo? yuk.... first world problems suck eh .

Only solution for me was to turn off surround

I sometimes get audio crackle whenever I use the horn, although it only crackles in third person.

As @xFetusx said above, it's an old game. Still you should be able to use multichannel. I believe many of us are using it.

Maybe you can reinstall Realtek drivers for your motherboard and check again.
Does your gaming headset come with the Logitech software?

Tried to connect the headset on the rear panel instead of front?

Yeah Logitech g hub,no matter in which port i put its same,it Sounds awful for me when i have to turn off surround but it is how it is

I use surround sound with my G433 and it works great but I use LGS instead of G Hub. Maybe try that and see how it works.

This ^^ Try with the LGS (Logitech Gaming Software)
Haven't tried it for the headset, but neat program for my peripherals.

Only if the headset supports DTS. You can blow speakers/your ears otherwise.

Sounds like 'feedback' from the mike possibly. Turn it off?
