Why Double Trailers?

What are the advantages to owning Double trailers, does it load more cargo thus earning you more money? Basicvally what I'm asking is there any real incentive into buying my own double?

Depending on which double your talking about (HTC or normal doubles). HTC's are double the weight and 2.1x longer than a single standard Europeen trailer. Now based off what I have seen there are 9 categories that determine your XP and money gain (outside of upgrading some upgrable skill categories). The 4 categories that matter when talking about HTC and Doubles are Distance, Weight and Cargo value and Cargo availability. Theres also a possible 5th hidden stat I’ll explain at the bottom.

Distance with Doubles and especially HTC's are limited in a unmodded game. You can't go from Kouvola (Finland) to Catania (Italy) since several countries between the destination wont allow doubles or HTC. This limitation is made up in the Weight value of Doubles and HTC's. HTC's will almost always get the Heavy cargo Icon due to you carrying double the standard load (Used pallets is the only one I have not seen this but more may exist). Heavy loads get a small %money and a moderate XP bouns. Due to this you get paid more for the weight transported vs a standard trailer. Cargo value on doubles and HTC's are well increased due to more cargo being moved.

Now Cargo availability is different and is the issue with ownable trailers. Some towns- cities may not have any cargo for your active trailer and you'll be running dry to the nearest company that has a job open.

When the Special transport DLC came out Special cargo gave you a very high amount of XP compared to similar routes. It’s entirely possible that doubles- HTC’s have a smaller XP bonus for “difficult load”. But this is speculation on my front. I have not data mined this game and I only know from what I have played.

Money really isn't a thing past a certain point in the game (L20ish).

Basically they are there for variety, to keep the game "fresh". More the merrier..

Lol....First off, google translate is absolute GARBAGE. Second, I shouldn't have to go out of my way to try and decipher someone's comment just because they don't want to speak English in an English thread in a website that mostly speaks English. Imagine moving to another country and then forcing others to cater to your language and culture just because you lack the common courtesy to learn their language and customs. Google Translate isn't great but it gives you an idea of what someone's saying. And, from what it gives you, if you can't figure out what they're saying there's not much hope.
