My Saitek r440 force wheel is forcing my game to crash
So I have used this wheel before for ETS2, about a year ago. But now it crashes on me. Starting the game is fine, but when I quit the menu and go into driving it crashes immediately. If my wheel is unplugged it's fine but as soon as I plug it in it crashes. I have always used Windows 10 as long as I have owned ETS2 and I have tried reinstalling the wheel's driver. Anyone had similar issues and managed to fix it?

Yeah I wiped my game from mods and did a clean reinstall. I believe my drivers are as up to date as a 10+ year old wheel can be.

2 years later, but i have nowhere else to go, so i'll try my luck: i have the same wheel, same issues, but trying the fix from the sites above doesn't work. Furthermore, when i tried to play after trying that solution, my pc blue screened.
Anyone still seeing this could help?

Sorry man. There might be a solution but I gave up on it.

Yeah, i gave up too. I just turned Force Feedback off in the game and it no longer crashed. Still a shame.

I never figured it out

Just to add: If the driver of the wheel is not 64bit then it will cause crashes.
