Best place for a garage in the UK
Going first time into the UK driving on the left side can be really confusing. However the motorway (highways) are really cool we can drive 60 mph (97 kmph) so technically 100 kmph without fines. Most places allow us only 80 or best case 90 kmph. Was wondering where's best place for a garage. Seems there aren't too many companies per city but still high paying jobs.

Just a random guess here but I'd say probably London.

Or many Liverpool/Manchester. Looking at the map they are so close together could be consider 1 city I think and so like 4+4. Also that's the place at least I think a lot of the British industry is concentrated irl.

They're not one contiguous mass of buildings. There's a lot of farmland and countryside between the two cities.

Just as an FYI, although the posted limit is 60mph on motorways, IRL the DVSA would take your license for doing 60mph as you're breaking the law by not having a limiter installed.

As far as the game goes, I tend to take Sheffield and London as bases. Sheffield is nice an central and is a good option for jobs in Liverpool and Manchester as it's not that far to go empty if you need to.

The biggest issue with the UK though is that most jobs end up going outside of the UK which is quite annoying if you want to stay in the UK.

It's only 40 miles irl between them. What's the map scale in the game?

According to the map editor, the scale is 1:19 everywhere except cities, which are 1:3.

From what I've been told, UK is different (1:15 ?)

I didn't think to check that. Other posts around the internet seem to indicate as such though.

It might be 40 miles straight line distance, but due to the topography of the UK and the way the road system has been routed you may have to travel close to double that.
