Can that one be safely ignored or does it mean that I'm doing something wrong? I've noticed that my tire wear seems a little quick. Is this what's contributing to that?
And yeah, the other is the green light when I have cruise control enabled and I'm travelling down an incline, but I kind of guessed that one was related to breaks or the retarded on my own.
As for the low air pressure, if you have air pressure simulation turned on, then yes. It's a big deal. When you start the truck, you're usually at 0 pressure. You need to build up pressure to release the brakes. In the case of low air pressure, I think anyhting below 60 turns on the warning. So idle or keep rolling without using the pedal brake hard(more pressure on pedal = more air used).
Speaking of the retarder: is there any way to disable it? In the older trucks, you can coast down inclines while using cruise control, but you can't seem to do that with these new Scanias.
