Reloading back before that occurance made him follow me off and presumably i will now be able to progress properly.
However I guess its a good thing to know to not just blindly follow the front guy assuming the alert will come up if you lose your rear and perhaps check to make sure your rear escort is with you at times.
It's basically a bug, which should get the attention of SCS.
I have yet to try the same route again as am trying to run every route first but when i reverted far enough in autosaves to before the A83 the rear guy went fine across it all and followed off the exit ramp.
It was like the rear guy just got stuck in like traffic and wasnt sure what to do about the exit and the traffic he was blocking and me and front escort jsut continued and were miles ahead until i got forcefully kicked out for losing my escort.
One thing that kinda suprised me once i noticed my rear was gone was that reloading the last checkpoint doesnt just automatically reset your escorts in their position near your stationary truck.
I feel like that would be easy enough to code to position the front and rear in a starting position upon a load save but I know I am not a game developer so that actually could be pretty difficult for all i know.
Thank goodness for the autosaves and i wouldnt doubt they knew some of these issues might exist with this new system hense why it says it auto saves more with the special transport loads.
Loving the dlc so far of what ive done little AI hiccup not withstanding which cost me liek 20 minutes of time probably through like failing a few times, backtrack to find where the stuck occured and to fix it and just waiting to see if he would show up.
i just cancelled the job. a redone it
