Trucks and level to be able to buy

I just started a new profile when the Italia DLC came online. I just noticed that I cannot buy any other brand of truck except Scania and Iveco. All other brands are now level 16 and all models too. Is this some mod I'm using or is this a new but/feature?

it really depends on how many other parts of the contant you uncover and find new dealers, All trucks roughly start out at about $100,000 for a new truck there is a dealer that has a beginners truck i think for $125,000 but its all on you and money.

As for the new DLC i dont think you could do those big hauls untill your at least level 15 where i am now, I have just gotten to this stage and starting to find jobs a little too easy, So the big haul jobs should be fun once i buy it. :P

Well, in my other profiles I could buy the entry level trucks of all brands at the start. My first profiles first truck was a Volvo FH16 Classic. Before there where trucks from level 1 in all brands and then the better trucks had higher and higher level demands. Not so anymore.

i guess not, as i say once you get the chance to pull money from the bank and add it to your account and get the min required for buying a truck you can do so.

Just dont go stright for those jobs with heavy hauls :P

A base truck form every company should be available for purchase from the start. Try disabling mods one at a time and see if that changes anything.

madkine i have never seen that happen, you have to have companys uncovered on the map to unlock new trucks, but if you believe so good luck.

Yes but every company has a truck available at level 0.

I might not have been totally clear but I already got 3 trucks, 2 Scanias and 1 Iveco. I also have dealers for every brand found. What puzzles me is that on my other profiles I could f ex by the first Volvo at level 1, next better model at level 3, 9, 12 and so on. Now, all brands except Scania and Iveco has all the trucks locked at level 16.

I don´t know exactly but i really can´t imagine a mod that would cause that special core bug. Precise lvl 16, not a mess with drivers levels or failed code causing a crash. I my opinion it MUST be a new (not documented) feature coming with patch1.30
