AI mods?

Can somebody point me in the direction of a decent AI revamp please? (If such a thing exists)

Trailer mod but once you introduce the paint truck AI mod ye'll be the odd one out with SCS trailers while the rest have real world company trailers etc.:

I dont think there is a mod which alters the ai behaviour.

Only mods I seen are for increasing traffic density or adding more ai vechicle models.

It greatly increases the number of cars etc. which makes the game feel like it actually has life to it while also having its own (better, in my opinion) behaviour compared to the default AI.

That car indicated AFTER it was already half way through the process of going into the outside lane, hence why I mentioned always pay attention.

Yeah, the AI REALLY sucks big time!

But all these moronic lunatics makes the game more fun to play, though watch out and pay attention when you're around these idiots.
Anticipate how the traffic flows around you and remember the defensive driving is of utmost importance.
I got an aggressive traffic mod and another one which adds even more traffic.

It really helps preparing for stupid people irl in traffic.

I dont have so many problems on the actual roads with the vanilla ai...... its more when im trying to manouver the truck in tight turns, the cars just seem to keep travelling forward even with a heavy goods vehicle about to total them.

or say the trailer gets slightly stuck on a railing while taking a tight corner, you've got no chance of reversing even slightly without a fine.

Missing your turn and the AI won't leave you any room to reverse.
If you do reverse be prepared to get ticket, and if you're unlucky enough, damage to the trailer.

At underpasses, you know the ones under motorways, the AI is quite stupid.
They won't give way to each other and it only takes a couple of idiots to make a traffic jam.
Stuck behind trucks and buses are really annoying in these situations.

It's been years since I've played the game with the vanilla AI so I have no idea what it's like anymore even if it's been tweaked (which I also have no idea about) but for tight turns (I'm assuming it's going on and off the motorways) take wide, kind of borderline late turns for those sort of turns while staying on your side as much as possible because ye'll always clip the trailer if you're driving like you're driving a car. Same thing can be applied for tight turns in general. The AI isn't human, so don't expect it to act or even react like one but it certainly gives the illusion of some humans with that AI mod I linked earlier.

If you get the trailer jackknifed somewhere put the hazards on and reverse ASAP before the AI has a chance to pile up behind you as once you start reversing in time they'll typically stop to at least give you enough room. It's very easy to get a trailer from A to B, regardless of distance, without a single scratch on it - ye just have to be paying attention 24/7 at every chance.

Bear in mind I'm speaking from experience with an AI mod - not the default base game AI.

yeah 80% of the time i remember to pay attention but then i forget its a driving sim 20% of the time and that im in a heavy goods vehicle with trailer attached haha

needless to say ive had some beeping fits and wanted to jump out of my truck but cant hahaha
