Fastest Truck - Scania or Volvo?

Everyone says that Scania has the fastest trucks in ETS2, but I've checked myself and found out, that Volvo is kinda faster, is it true?
Scania had 730hp Maximum, Volvo has 750hp Max...

Ohh, I got a top speed record in England. Scania R730 V8.
Conveniently there had to be a speed trap just when I hit 183 km/h.

The volvo must be a little faster since the 20 extra horsepower, but going above 150 with a load is pointless, since you cannot control your truck. Irl even a modified MAN can go 140 so i cant even imagine what a scania v8 could achieve with some tuning...

There are other factors beside HP, like transmission ratio's, diferential ratio, and gross weight, all affect the overall performance, also odd but true tyre size will affect your top speed. I personally am happy limiting to 90Kph, but then I'm getting older and my eyes aren't what they were, and if I want speed I do formula truck, but reflexes aren't what they used to be and I've tipped my Scania on it's side a copuple of times. But as I stated HP is not the only factor in overall performance.

all the trucks probably have the same top speed if the transmission options are all the same (which i think they are?)
the thing is with less hp you don't accelerate as fast and will see higher speeds less often. this is too bad as i don't like the look of the scania or the volvo. i like the look of ivecos the best but not enough power

I also think Renault trucks are quite quick, other day I clocked 164KPH in a Renault but my Scania R620 with the 730bhp upgrade is restricted to just 110kph at all times and only goes over that if ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ down a hill.

I think Volvo is the 'Rolls Royce' of trucks but Scania are more popular cause you get more bang for your bucks. I like the 750bhp Volvo best cause using the shifter I can pull a decent load from stationary in 7th gear, negating the need to keep using the gate for 1-6
