Non steam version.

Do you have to have a steam version of Eurotruck 2 to use viva la France or can you buy it elsewhere for non steam versions..Im confused!!

two things, one you can buy the stand alone version from the website ETS 2, however the DLC packs i think you will only find on steam, I do not know how they work from off the main site.

But the code to run ETS 2 will enable the ETS2 on steam as well in case you need that as well.

I checked their website and so far there is only a buy on Steam button. ...all the other dlc can be purchased independant of Steam.

i do not know why you would not have what i do.

I am looking at it right now, i see a green buy button and a buy on steam button, maybe your country only allows the steam version and that could be the trouble.

But with steam you are getting updates and fixes automaticly as well. So bare with it. and buy it up.

scs will kill sales if they force people to buy the game with dlc from Steam only. I think by next week ppl willbe able to buy the nonsteam edition.

I would think that probably the sales of the game on Steam have reached a higher number then the ones outside of it with "non drm" versions.

Lemon head..are you looking at the ets2 site or on steam when you see two options? I cannot see why they would only sell on steam when Ive had base game non sream version since it was released and have had no trouble getting other dlc..

From the actual web site where you can buy both steam and just the non free DRM which shoudl just give you the key to unlock the DRM free ETS2

As i said as for DLC i have not brought any dlc off the main site. I have brought them on Steam always.

Yes they are a small company.
Thats why they wrote months ago that they might at some point stop supporting non steam versions of the game, as it is easier to maintain only one version instead of 2 different ones.

Yes well thats because you have the steam version...im not going to buy the steam version just so i can have france...i have built my non steam version up from day one and should be able to add this dlc staight from main site..i have green button to buy but only option after that is to buy from steam...really frustrated...just hope its an oversite and i will be able to buy soon. Im in the UK so maybe its because of Brexit lol.
